Overall the hotel was fine. It's basic-level Marriott quality. Rooms were decent and comfortable. Beds, Towels and shower decent. The pool area was a bit disappointing as the hot tub was filled in with concrete. The hot breakfast was OK -- the hot items were just potatoes and biscuits/gravy. Usually there's an egg item and a meat item, but maybe that's just a local difference? It met our needs. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Overall we paid a budget rate for a Friday evening on short notice, and the hotel delivered at that level of quality. If you are looking for a quick rest stop, this will do it well. Beyond that, you may be disappointed.

This a perfect location to FT. Leonardwood base. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service. It was perfect for traveling with a family. The location is up on a hill and has the best sunrises and sunsets.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Marriott. Located off of historic Route 66 by lots of dining and shopping options. I suggest the route 66 diner. My only complaint would be that I was on the first floor located with a window facing the parking lot and the curtains were sheer and there was no blind or heavy curtain to close. So the parking lot had a view of me sleeping.

See my review for the Fairfield Inn in Rolla. Susan at this location listened to our concerns in regards to public and in room air fresheners. She noted that this hotel does not use air fresheners in their public spaces. The cleaning staff, for the 2 days prior, had started using a Christmas scented air freshener in the rooms. Susan found us a room that has not been used in 4 days which was unscented and had an in room dehumidifier. We had a return trip planned for 2 nights later and she reserved that same room for our return trip. While this is an older hotel, the attention the staff gives to customers is outstanding.
