Best (and only) NJ Unemployment Insurance center in the area. Spent weeks trying to get a hold of someone on the phone to no avail. (I kept getting hung up on when the system said no one is available.) I tried to visit the Somerville and New Brunswick locations for help only to find out that both locations are closed for Unemployment Insurance. I went to Perth Amboy and the guard was unbelievably helpful and showed me how to schedule an appointment on my phone. (No walk in appointments.) Upon my appointment date & time, I sat in the waiting room about 60 seconds before being called up. There was only one other customer there and 3 agents waiting to help me. The agent resolved my major issue in less than 10 minutes and was genuinely happy to help. On a follow-up appointment a few weeks later, there was no other customers there and, again, 3 agents waiting to help me. I didn't even get a chance to sit down in the waiting area. My issues were resolved in 5 minutes this time. This location is, by far, the BEST New Jersey service I have EVER gotten in my 50 years of living in this state. If only the website was as clear on how the process worked compared to the security guards there. Also, street and deck parking are readily available for $0.25/30mins. Entrance is easy to miss. It shares an entrance with a pediatric dentist office. Unemployment is on the third floor.

To all that are trying to get an unemployment face to face in person, these are closed, they are not accepting anyone from the public everything is through either online or phone. Dont bother driving there like I did. Like this if this helped you.
