May 11-12 2022 This Hotel should get much higher ratings. It is a beautiful building, but that is not the reason we continue to enjoy staying at your hotel. We chose to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary again this year, as we did last year. Our stay was rescued from a less than 5-star rating because of your staff. Michael, from the front desk, quickly responded to our air conditioning problem. It was a mechanical malfunction, made worse by record breaking heat. He was very sympathetic and promptly moved us to a different room. Another person that needs recognition and sadly I didn't ask her name, is the breakfast lady. She was friendly, helpful and right there when needed. But where's the decaf coffee? Breakfast was rather disappointing. Things needing more attention - updating and cosmetic cleaning. There was a large black mark on the bedroom wall and looked as if a marker had been used on the ottoman in the sitting area. Also, there was a faint cigarette odor in the room (?) Bed was very comfortable, with nice linen.

Front desk person Jay is great. Room was really clean and got extra towels fast. Safe and great location. 5 out of 5.

Our stay was very disappointing. I was told on the phone that the rooms were recently renovated in the past 2 years. I stayed in room 620 on 4/1/22 and 4/2/22 with my mom and 5 year old son to visit family. The room decor was dark brown and gold, frayed shower curtain, peeling wallpaper, popcorn ceiling, worn outdated fixtures in bathroom, rusty door hinges, cracked tile floor, rough sheets and low 6 ft ceiling in bathroom. I waited 20 minutes with a toddler to check in. We called front desk a few times during stay for general questions, although no one ever answered. It appeared there was an event going on down the street and people were parking in the hotel parking lot. We had to park and walk a block with my senior mom and 5 year old because the hotel parking lot was full. We attempted to use the pool Saturday night with my 5 year, but left after 5 minutes due to a group playing a loud stereo system, drinking and not supervising their rough playing kids in the pool. One threw a toy which hit my toddler in the face with a pool toy and another shot him with a powerful water gun. We left and told front desk. They did not seem interested in addressing and responded, “we allow drinking in the pool until 9pm”. We do not plan to return to this hotel or a Radisson in the future!

Quite a nice hotel. Main lobby bathroom's were clean. Didn't get a room, just had to to go while waiting for the doors to open next door for TOOL. Would highly recommend!
