Lack of professionalism at the pharmacy. The two female pharmacists working on 03/16/2022 around 3:45 PM were the worst employees at Publix I've ever spoke with, I've never had any issues with any other Publix. They don't like interacting with customers, which is why I guess they though they would just hung up on me multiple times, not answer any of my calls, and kept transferring me to customer service. Sue in CS confirmed and said that they didn't want to talk to me which is why they weren't answering my calls. Seriously??? Immature, incompetent, and lack of customer service skills.... Oh and don't expect this pharmacy to help you if you need a refill for a Rx for medical purposes, they don't care if you need it and wont tell you if they have it, they will tell you just "drive around to different pharmacies" because they don't want to help you.... Highly do not recommend this pharmacy.

I just had a very negative and disappointing experience when I took my 5 year old for his covid vaccine. We went to the Publix on Weldon blvd, making the appointments online was very easy, we did not have to wait long, and most employees we interacted with were very kind; however, the woman who administered my son’s vaccine was very cold, unpleasant, impatient, and honestly just rude. My son was nervous (he’s five and shots can be scary) he was quietly crying while sitting on my lap and it was clear immediately that this employee had no patience for him. The first thing out of her mouth was “you need to bear hold him because I don’t want a needle prick”… so I hold his little arms down but he still managed to flinch when the needle went in. As he flinched she sternly said “don’t move” and rolled her eyes. She immediately retreated back through the pharmacy door and no one else addressed us in regards to follow up care or anything at all. I implore you not to allow callous and impatient staff to administer vaccines to anyone, but especially not to young children. It’s not only that this employee was impetuous, but she was also incredibly unprofessional. Unlike when I received my vaccine by an actual medical professional, my child was not monitored for a reaction, nor was there any mention of a second dose and when to schedule that for. I would obviously never consider bringing him back to be re-traumatized by her or anyone that would deem her competent to perform such a task, and I would hate for any other parent, child or frankly any person to be treated this way by such a careless and unsympathetic employee. Do better.
