I went there looking for new phone and switching from ATT to Verizon potentially. Store was empty and two of the employees had a realty load conversation with two people that did not seem to be there for work. It was hard to hear the associate I was dealing with. Not sure what happened with customer service, but this is not the way to attract new customers.

Just wanted a charger had to wait until 5 people did upgrades and got new lines. I heard someone say they had been there or an hour or more. I left.

I've been with Verizon for about 20 years. Even though they are by far the most expensive cell phone service available. I think they're the most reliable since I never have dropped calls or "No service." However their corporate stores leave a lot to be desired. My phone has been paid for and my contract up for about 2 years so Verizon has been hounding me to update my phone for quite sometime. I contacted them over the website using chat. It went very smoothly. I purchased two phones. They were the latest and greatest Motorola versions. All I had to do was pick them up after work at the local corporate store. The store wasn't busy at all so I was waited on immediately. However, it was obvious they wanted to get you out the door asap. They would not activate the phones while I was there. When I asked them firmly they said no and I would need to make an appointment for the next day. I told them I've had trouble in the past with activation. I was told the phone would automatically activate as soon as it was powered on. Of course when i got home neither phone would activate. I had to get on with Verizon customer service to get them to work and it wasn't easy. Service rep tried to get me to pull the little card out of the phone. I couldn't even get the little door open. When I refused to take it out as it was a brand new phone, she decided to try something else which fortunately worked. I returned to the store the next day to get a cover. The same guy who refused to help me activate the phone sold me a new cover. He then told me that activation is "supposed" to be easy and trouble free but it rarely was. Unless you like trouble, I wouldn't leave the store without an activated phone. Another note is even though I purchased Motorola's top of the line phone the corporate store had a total of "2" cases to choose from. What's up with that? Great cell phone service. Love Motorola phones. I've used them since my first fat flip phone in the 90s. Highly questionable in store customer service.
