We booked our stay way back in March of 2022. This was our half way point to The Outer Banks. When we arrived on July 22nd for our overnight stay, it took over 30 minutes to check in to our rooms. We booked 3 rooms total. This should never had taken this long considering how long ago we already had booked the rooms! There were NO cars in the parking lot and the lobby was closed so we had to wait outside while our family membered worked to check us all in. It was almost 100 degrees outside that day. We FINALLY got checked in and got our room keys. We unloaded out vehicles and went to get in our rooms. THE AIR CONDITIONERS WERE NOT ON IN THE ROOMS AND THE CURTIAN HAD BEEN LEFT OPEN SHINING IN THE SUN AND THE NEAR 100 DEGREE TEMPS! Our rooms were unbearably hot, which is really terrible considering we had a 10 month old and a 7 and 8 year old! As if that wasn't enough, in our room with double beds we found a Gatorade bottle in the refrigerator with a substance in it that looked to be a urine sample. The bottle was a blue Gatorade which was opened and had a name on the top. My husband took it down to the desk and demanded to speak to the manager. Although he apologized for it, he did not offer to make things right by discounting the room or anything. He did offer us another room but we had already unpacked for the night and we have young children so that would have been a huge inconvenience. Eventually he did give us a 10% off discount for the dirty room but the damage was done. I will never stay at another Motel 6 again. You may leave the light on but you forgot the air and it took many hours for our room to get comfortable and you clearly don't clean well enough for my standards. Do not recommend staying at this Motel 6! Horrible experience!!

Cleaning staff wakes u out of your sleep at 830am in an effort to get you out of their way..and check out is at 11am..Adding insult to injury expect approximately $25.00 in extr a taxes to be on your bill at checkout

Friendly staff, clean hotel, perfect for a quick overnight stay on the road. I was a little skeptical (I normally don’t like to stay in places where doors are on the outside) but was pleasantly surprised. It looks like the rooms and lobby were redone fairly recently. Everything was great and would totally stay at this particular place again if I needed an overnight stop!

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had to leave a day early due to the impending snow storm. We had no problems getting a refund for the night we did not stay. Will definitely stay here again. Only issue was the water took a while to run hot. Other than that it was great!
