We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this Hampton 'in the middle of nowhere!' Staff was warm, helpful and polite. Room was spacious and clean. Hot breakfast began at 5:30 AM on Saturday, which was appreciated and enjoyed. I will be looking forward to staying there again.

Second stay - 4/15/22. Paid $136.77 for two queen beds directly to Hampton Inn online this time, not through Priceline. Room 315. The entire hotel is non-smoking and I like that. Clean room and clean sheets. Pat in the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful. This is my preferred stopover point when I travel to South Carolina from Northern Virginia. First Stay - Stayed the night of 12/29/21 and paid $92.95 through Priceline when taxes and fees are included. When we showed up, the receptionist told me Priceline had sold me a room the hotel didn't have because they were doing renovations. The paint in the room was dry, though, so we were given the room. Otherwise we would have had to leave and ask Priceline for a refund. Room 318 was very clean and the mattress was excellent. I tried to look for a tag to see what brand it was but I couldn't tell. Multiple hotel employees smoking cigarettes and talking outside the front entrance 8:55 am 12/30/21. Unprofessional and unpleasant to walk through the foul smelling cigarette smoke to gain entrance to the hotel.

Normally we stay in a hotel in a town not far away when we come to visit family. This time we tried this hotel and loved our stay. We will be staying here from now on! The room was clean, and looked great. The upgrades done made it seem like they want you to really enjoy staying there. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve slept on. So much so that we complimented the front desk on it. To take is a step further…I can not say enough about the friendliness of the staff. From the front desk, to the breakfast staff to the housekeepers we would see in the halls. They always said hello and had a smile on their face. This hotel knows how to do it well. They are the true definition of hospitality.
