I just graduated from Suncoast Trucking Academy for my CDL class A. As long as you follow your instructors directions, they make everything as easy as can be. Everything from the pretrip, basic maneuvers, and driving were really hands on . My instructor Bill was extremely patient with me and made sure I was ready come test day. Bill, Glenn, and all the other instructors really make this place all about learning to drive a truck more than just a business. I highly recommend anyone wanting to get their CDL check out Suncoast.

Amazing school to attend before you leave they will give you all the knowledge of driving and maneuvering the truck just have to put in the work they are not handing out cdl's so prepare to work for it

We have a refund policy in our Student Enrollment Form that does offer a refund. It states: "Cancellation after attendance has begun, but prior to 40% completion of the program will result in a prorated refund computed on the number of hours completed to the total program hours. Cancellation after completing 40% will result in no refund."
Unfortunately the state of Florida requires you to be able to read and understand English as part of the requirements for obtaining and CDL.

Depends on what class, if its 3 day class or 4 week class, no matter what you need the permit to even get the license. It should be under 1900 for class a or class b

Yes, you can get a cdl class A license as early as 18 but you can not travel outside the state till you reach 21. Yes, you can get a class A cdl license as early as 18, but you cannot travel out of state until you reach 21.
There is no campus or dorms to stay in while training or attending suncoast academy.
The Tuition here is $6,495.00 we offer Student Loans to those who qualify. We have a instructor to student ratio of 5/1. We have several trucks, about 8. Sometimes People decide after committing to a Loan that Trucking may not be for them. This is a big decision, that should be taken seriously. All of our Students pass the test and the CDL program unless they decide to quit. Some may test 2 or 3 times, We do not let anyone leave with out a CDL, Diploma and a Job Opportunity. Some decide to quit before completion, that is their choice.
