Billing nightmare! This group has shady billing practices. I went in for my annual wellness check, a visit covered by my insurance. It was my first time here so I spoke with the doctor about my medical history. I have a history of IBS, but it wasn't really an issue at the time of my visit. The doctor wanted to prescribe me something. I was hesitant because I was pretty successful at managing the symptoms with lifestyle changes. He insisted and sent my Rx to Fry's. When I was leaving the office, I checked with the desk to ensure that my insurance covered this annual visit - I asked point-blank if I had any charges and was told "no." Turns out the doctor prescribed me a stool softener that the pharmacist told me was cheaper to just buy OTC.... this was annoying because I had told the doctor that I had never had any luck with OTC drugs. Further, about 2 weeks later I get a bill in the mail for about $200 for the visit. I called the office and they blamed my insurance. I called my insurance and they told me that, in addition to charging me for the annual wellness visit, they charged me for a consultation for a "serious" condition. The insurance rep told me that, while this isn't illegal, it is definitely dubious. When I called the office back to ask them why they charged me twice for one visit - and for the most money they possibly could by categorizing it as "serious" - they tried to blame their medical coding company. I told them what had happened in my visit and that I felt it was incorrectly coded and that I was incorrectly charged, but they would not budge. Not to mention, while I was calling the office about this, the staff was very rude. There are better medical practices out there, don't waste your time with this group.

I went in for a new patient visit and Dr. Alia is such a wonderful doctor. Very kind, caring, great bedside manners and funny. He wasn't all business like some doctors, he genuinely took interest in getting to know his new patient. He addressed all my concerns and made sure I was able to come back when he wanted me to for a complete physical. The decor reminded me of going to the doctor back in the days, it was cute! The doctor is knowledgeable, attentive, caring, and listens to your concerns and do not rush you and that's the most important thing to me. I felt great after the visit and all the staff I interacted with were nice too.

This office should take all the patients concerns about office staff more seriously. Its very sad when patients and family are treated poorly by front office staff. If the job is over whelming then please find another job and treat everyone with respect and care. Medical staff should be empathetic and caring as well as understanding the patients needs.

Good question not sure, never had to go on workman's comp while being a patient there. You can call and ask you will get a recording but just stay online compress the button for new patient so when they get on the phone you can ask
You can look on their website if they take your insurance if not just give him a call
