My parents aged 90 and 83 moved into assisted-living at Allegro about 7 months ago. At the time it was a major transition for them moving from living independently to an assisted living situation, but clearly needed. Unfortunately my mother passed away recently and things have been very difficult for my father for sure. I just want to compliment the entire assisted-living team for their wonderful and compassionate attention to my father during his time of grieving. To Dawn, Shane, Gwen, Michelle, Emily, Gary and the entire Allegro team I have tremendous appreciation for your efforts and sincerity! Thank you so much for helping my father during this difficult transition. You are amazing!.

This once gracious retirement community has fallen on hard times'. New manager has replaced quitting long term employees with managements friends and relations. Kitchen and dining room operating with reduced hours and no permanent leadership. Staff from other departments are frequently forced to work as dinning replacements leaving regular departments understaffed. Housekeeping is poor. Corporate management is no longer often present and seems remote and uninterested. On the good side, assisted living staff remains dedicated and helpful
