8k Elevation. I was actually stopped at the picnic grounds. Fantastic overlook of the valley below. Need a telephoto lens to get a picture of Shiprock. Very impressive.

Small rest stop. No restrooms available. But the scenary is good, can see the rock formation of Shiprock from here.

You could call the navajo nation forestry office in window rock also. Ask a few questions and go from there.
