Went here a while back and honestly the food wasn't very good, lots of room for improvement there. With Scratch Kitchen less than a mile away, Tap Station needs to step their game up...

I've been twice now and I can't really say I'm aching to go back. I think the idea is great (the restaurant is very well-themed) and needed for the area but it just doesn't live up to what one would hope. -As many have mentioned, they have a dedicated parking lot that might fit maybe a corner of their capacity. How this was approved by the town council is beyond me. If you're going during standard lunch or dinner time, don't bother trying to park there and look for street parking on Salem Street because going one-way through their lot will set you back about 5 minutes. -They brew their own beer, which is great, but after trying 3 or 4, they're drinkable but nothing special. -The food is especially greasy. Onion rings are mostly batter, fries are quite salty, and the crispy chicken has a ton of breading. I'd stick to grilled chicken and burgers if I were to go back. -As a plus, I have had great service both times I've been. Overall, it's fine I guess. The pain of parking might outweigh any desire for me to go at a normal lunch or dinner time. This really seems like a missed opportunity for an area that could really use a good brewpub.
