We just moved into the area but have attended service several times in the past. The services are very good and we felt at home there. We were told it was a very family and especially kid friendly. So today we dropped off our 2 sons who are13 year old twins around 10:30 am so they could throw there disk golf/ Frisbees in the open feild directly behind the church as we felt they would be safer there as we ran chores for an hour. They both have there cell phones and drinks as they play. Not 30 minutes later we receive a call from the police that the lady worker inside called because we "abandoned our children"?? and that they must leave the area as it is PRIVATE PROPERTY?? Call the police?? Why not see what there doing? Ask them to leave or something? Never have we or our children ever been told we couldn't be at a church facility during the day for trespassing on private property?? Never again. ...our children having a safe place to play is everything. We can see where your churches priorities lay. Thanks for nothing and scaring our children.
