I have been traveling across the country this week and booking all my hotels through choice membership, and this hotel LIED and claimed my name was nowhere on our reservation and refused to allow me to check in. I asked the front desk man what needs doing to fix the reservation so i can check in, and instead of answering he started asking who I am and who else was with me, told me I can't check in, and didn't give back my ID. I had to ask twice before he gave my ID back, I don't know if he was hard of hearing or just rude, but he seemed to be in a perfectly good mood, with fine hearing, while checking in the woman in front of me. Needless to say we canceled our reservation and will never reccomend this place. Also there are homeless people on the side of the building but I guess they don't care about customers safety outside of the hotel.

Short trip with my husband. Rooms not to clean and staff not nice to my husband after asking for items. Looks gloomy and dark in the hallways and oh yea you might get lost. Spooky place. I actually stayed again with my husband due to his job. The hotel is trash. Phones don't work and the lady at the front desk and the housekeeping manager need to be fired. They are so rude. And make sure if you leave a review its anonymous because the new owner will not allow you to stay and ban you. He should take constructive criticism instead of blocking people who will just go spread the word to the entire world!! Banning people will not help your hotel. Making sure you give a a better experience is the best solution. They may actually go back and remove the review. And banning the wrong one may take your hotel under. Just advice.

Upon my arrival I was greeted by a gentleman at the front desk who help me check in. It was a standard check-in that was quick and efficient. I got my room number and went to go check out the space. When I entered the room, there was an strong mildew smell along with it being extremely hot. When you stepped foot in the room, the linoleum floors were sticky like they hadn't been cleaned. There were pieces of trash still on the floor. The door to the balcony had about an ½ inch gap that was allowing ants and other pests to come in from outside. The balcony, which I paid extra for, had broken chairs and a wasps nest making it unusable. The walls has red crayon drawings on them like someone's kid went to town but but hotel didn't see it fit to properly repair damages before the next person staying booked that room. I went to call the front desk from the land-line but the phone was completely disconnected. All of the cords were missing so I had to call from my cellphone. The same gentleman that checked me in answered the and I explained to him that there were issues with my accommodations. He was very helpful and he immediately got my a new room. The next room was much better. It still had a strong mildew smell but that was the only real complaint compared to the previous room. This was my first time staying at Comfort Inn/Choice Hotels and as of right now it'll probably be my last.

Positive: Location was good for what I needed, 6:30am breakfast earlier than most other hotels was really great. Also multiple points of entry was convenient. Negative: Stained bath towels, pillows smelled like cigarettes smoke, and balcony could have been cleaner. Hallway smelled bad.
