Came here this morning to fish. Listening to my hubby that he read the reviews. NOT!!! There is so much algae here. I got nothing but algae on my fishing line. The 1 star is only for the fishing part, not for the park.

Great park with beautiful surroundings. You almost forget that you are in Gwinnett county when you are on the trail except for the faint sound of cars driving past in the distance. I feel lucky that this land was designated as park space instead of becoming yet another neighborhood.

Aside from when the park is closed, I saw no rules against fishing any particular time.
Yes I seen ppl in one before
16 and over require a Georgia fishing license. The west side of the lake has the most fishing areas.
