I deleted all the photos from my.main phone but I still have most of them on my private. One great example is I had to sleep in my car at Walmart because all the parking spots were taken. You're almost forced to pay for parking.

With the MANAGER we agreed that the cabinets were going to be painted white because they are literally in very bad condition, the cabinets are falling, they have a hole everywhere, the stove is in very bad condition, very old and rusty, he told me that they were going to put a new stove and the new stove hasn't arrived yet, the floor is all scratched and ugly and we also agreed with the MANAGER who was going to put a new floor and didn't do it as soon as my contract started on Wednesday the 10th And everything started badly I need them to fix my department as soon as possible

We are struggling through our second summer here. We rent a 3 bedroom unit but have not been able to use the 2 bedrooms located on the top floor because the air conditioning does not work upstairs. They replaced the unit last year but that didn’t help; there is zero airflow upstairs. We gave up last summer and asked for permission to install a window unit. They allowed this. We were willing to accept higher electricity bills to keep the kids cool, at least in one bedroom. We decided to renew our lease because the window unit solved our problem. This was only after we asked to move into a single-level unit and were told we would have to pay an additional $3,000 deposit. Really?, you want more money to help us escape a problem that you are supposed to fix? We improved the place by getting rid of the 1,000 roaches that were there when we moved in, why not just transfer our deposit?! This year, they made us remove the window unit but they haven’t fixed the air flow issue. They say that we are keeping the downstairs thermostat set too low. This isn’t true at all. We set it at 76-80; it’s hot! When the downstairs thermostat is set to 80 and not until, the damper tries to switch to cooling upstairs but it never blows air. So the unit runs around the clock, yet we are sweating downstairs and upstairs, paying $300+ electricity bills for nothing. They sent out an email telling all residents that central air conditioning can only cool an apartment by 12 degrees, which of course isn’t true. My friends, even those living in drastically cheaper apartments, get to enjoy air conditioning, temps in the 70s in the summer. Meanwhile, it was 102 in my son’s bedroom last week, and the summer hasn’t even begun to unleash its fury yet. We asked why the window unit wasn’t allowed anymore and they said it wasn’t properly installed. We asked them to install it and they said they can’t for liability reasons. My guess is it’s really bc window units scream poor maintenance and they just raised their rates so they don’t want the eyesore. We don’t either; we want the central air conditioned 3 bedrooms we pay for! They installed temperature loggers, telling me to leave the downstairs set to 80 and the upstairs to 64. We did that for weeks, running up our electricity bill and feeling like we were melting. The logger was downstairs where it was cooler, though, not upstairs where it should be. What is the point of the logger? It would make more sense to just walk upstairs and hold your hand under the vent to see that it doesn’t blow! That would be too easy, and wouldn’t allow them to keep jerking us around. As high as the rent is, we should be able to go home to a place that has a tolerable temp. We work outside in the heat and don’t want to go home to the heat. So yeah, they may have changed their name and painted the bricks outside for a “fresh, new look”, but they’re the same people, giving tenants the same tired excuses, sending the same worthless maintenance guy around to zip-tie temperature loggers on thermostats and blaming their tenants because they do not care.

There was an issue that I had but the property manager, Mr. Armstrong, made sure that is was resolved in a timely manner. It is important to know that problems are inevitable but to know that the leader can rectify the matter makes me believe that he sincerely takes pride in his property.
