Wonderful drive-in movie experience. Others there were very respectful of keeping noise, lights to a minimum. Even the must-have junk food was good. We'll be back!

I have never had a bad experience at the Big Mo. The price for a double feature is unbeatable. The concession prices are reasonable but the concession line can get long really fast. The line for the gate opening starts about two hours prior to gate opening, so depending on how close you want to potentially be to the screen, you will need to arrive early and be prepared to sit and wait. Overall though it is a wonderful experience that anyone who has never been to a drive-in movie should try.

I had always wanted to check out Monetta Drive In and just never found the right time. Finally got out there and it was a very cool experience. Was very impressed with the quality of the sound during the movie too. Will definitely check out another movie there!

Wonderful drive in theater! I love the double feature all three screens offer. The workers are all pleasant and helpful and the time between movies is long enough to allow for a potty break as well as a snack break. It's more than well …

It's about 40 mins from Augusta so it should be less or about the same time. You have to get on I-20 and somewhere around exit 43 I want to say.
I would say approximately 45 minutes. I love going there. Arrive early, as the line to get in prior to the gates opening are often long. But nothing beats a great Drive-In Movie Theater experience! 🎥 🚗
9 per adult. They don't have car prices. But it 2 movies, that's a bargain. It's not always an older movie for the second movie. Toyota get better answers on the web site
Their Facebook page is great to stay caught up on what's playing and upcoming events. This weekend on the main field: It Chapter 2 & Hustlers; Field 2: Ad Astra & The Lion King; Field 3: Rambo Last Blood & Angel Has Fallen
Absolutely! They have refreshments at a reasonable price, but you can bring everything you need to have a family picnic if you like! No alcohol allowed though.
They give you a guesstimate about what time the movies start on their website. But it depends on when it gets dark.
$9 for adults, usually they only show 2 films per screen. Bring chairs & a radio. bring food or buy it there, food process are reasonable. Their website really has all the info you need
Rain shine as long as there's power The Show Goes On.
they have a website
No this weekend is the last one for the season and it's not showing right now
No
No. Your phone has the capability but US carriers have mostly disabled it. You'd need an app that lets you manually tune using the radio receiver. You can use your car radio or bring along a battery powered radio.
They close for winter months every year. I think they open back up around March or April.
Look them up online
Right now none of the major movie studios aren't releasing any big money flicks. They are waiting until they can draw bigger crowds.
6 people per car for $175 total plus approx $25 service charges. Great deal to see live concerts.
They are not doing movies but have rented out the fields for a few upcoming concerts.
Fri and Saturday nights Mar to Nov
Cell service is spotty out there. I would plan to have fm radio.
Check the website
Shouldn't be a problem as long as your hatch doesn't extend up to far past your roof
Prices are posted on the website http://thebigmo.com Bring your own snacks if you want but the concession stand has decent prices, chairs and a radio if you want to sit outside. (Or if car radio doesn't work)
Yes
Each field has a different channel it tells you on your ticket they give you if your radio doesn't work well you can rent one from the concession stand on the main field I would suggest that anyways to save your car battery or you could buy a portable radio of your own that's what I did and never have a problem... Hope this helps you and good luck )
A little over 2hrs...
Two movies each screen. They usually post each weeks line up on their website.
Limited staff and past traffic issues caused them to change their hours, since being near a school and small community they once had people blocking the roads waiting to get in and the traffic laws prohibited cars from blocking 2 lane roads.
Not until around 6 will you be able to reach anyone, if they have a movie showing tonight, if not you'll have to wait until the next movie showings.
They usually don't cancel for just rain, no matter how hard. and they do not allow readmissions, so if you leave for any reason you'd have to pay again
Yes! For the very best experience, come early, set up and enjoy a double feature.
Yes, sure, just be careful not to park behind an SUV with their hatch up.
You can have as many in a car as you'd like. It's $9/ person 12 and up, $4 for ages 4-11 and free for 3 and younger
It's not open during the winter....
Never been checked
