I love Melody Drive-In! We stop in & see a movie whenever we're camping at Tippy. Prices aren't too high, so I can treat the family to a fun night of old fashion entertainment. I can even take my dogs too. The grandkids get play & unwind before the movie starts, so they are ready to relax & settle in for the movie. Their food at concession stand is great, so getting us all Popcorn for the movie is a must!! It's just great fun & then we can all be campfire critics the next morning around fire pit at our Site. Great conversations start from there!

Melody drive in is our favorite drive in. The grounds are clean and the food is amazing. Everyone who has ever worked there has been super kind. It is definatly worth it to go!

This place was great! It could use a little better signage to let you know which screen is which, but other than that we loved it. It's about the only one left that still has working window speakers. You can use your radio if you want to, but I would be afraid that would drain my battery all that time. Two shows play on each screen, but if you stay for the second one,it's gonna be wee hours of the morning before you leave. Also, get there early!!! We were an hour early and still waited in line 25 minutes to get in

It’s been 2 seasons since we’ve come here. I waited an hour and 10 in the concession line missing the movie for some popcorn and a drink. I would have/should have just left the line but once you’ve been waiting 30 minutes and relatively close, you honestly just push through thinking it won’t be much longer. Once you get in the building you’ll wait another 20 minutes. The popcorn was not good, tasted like nothing, no butter, no salt. . I feel as thought the menu should be simplified because those workers were working so hard to get customers out but some people order A LOT of complicated things. Got back to the car only to see someone parked next to us in a spot that isn’t even one, left their loud van on to have the AC running or something and left us without being able to hear. Also two cars ahead of us running but one thankfully turned theirs off. I’ve gone here (besides this two year break) since I was a child and it was not our best or near best experience. We ended up leaving from lack of being able to hear the movie. So hopefully the people who came later into the movie and parked next to us got to enjoy it. I can’t say I won’t be back, because my family will! But I will say I definitely will bring my own food and refreshments and hope we don’t get rude people next to us.

Try sending them a message on Facebook. That may be faster than waiting until they open in May. Good luck! :)
