I tried to get a loan at this place apparently a year ago and got denied. I admit I wasn’t in a good place to make payments the but I just tried again and got denied again. I have a negative balance in my account and I proved that I have a full time job. When I spoke to the manager she told me they do not base approval off of your credit. That was a lie. The reason I was denied was due to the number of credit inquiries, property purchase history, and unable to confirm identity with third party vendor. Very disappointed that these places are meant to help people who are truly struggling but they turn us away

Hi Felicia, thank you for your question! Unfortunately, there's no "cookie cutter" answer for this, as loan terms may vary by location, type of loan, and eligibility requirements. In Texas, we offer cash advances, installment loans, and title loans. With that being said, APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is what shows you the rate of interest you would end up paying if your loan was left outstanding (and accruing interest) for an entire YEAR. The goal is for customers to pay the loan back on time, which is exactly what Cash Store encourages customers to do.
