I have a son who was stationed in Lemoore. He has PTSD, anxiety and depression. While he was there the commanding officer took away his mental health therapist and other servicemen are in the same situation. What kind of base does this to our servicemen and women. While he is not wounded in the sense of losing limbs and he is wounded and they deserve the same care! Very disappointed in the system right now.

Do not try and go on base without a base pass! You cant just stop in and drive around the neighborhood/base like you would in your city or town. Make sure when trying or applying for a base pass you have ID vehicle registration and insurance. You CAN NOT just visit the base without being invited on base. If invited you can park outside of base and ride in with your host or to drive yourself your host is going to escort you on base. You will still need to above mentioned. The Officers/Navy Police/Military Members at the gate that check you are ALWAYS RESPECTFUL, TO THE POINT while greeting you and say either have a good/great day. Thank you for your service NAS LEMOORE. Civilians will not see parked jets. They are on the "Ops" side and only those with clearance get to go on that side. Side note the jets are constantly flying overhead usually pairs of 2 sometimes 3 during the day and its awesome to see. Couple of times I saw them in a group of 4 and from my angel it looked like they were touching. Amazing. 🇺🇸

Apparently an F/A-18 E from NAS LEMOORE crashed near TRONA CA about 230m from the base. This happened yesterday June 4th I think. The pilot was killed his identity has not been released yet pending notification of family.. RIP 🌈 🕊️

NAS Lemoore is great for military members approaching retirement or have established families. If you do not fall under those communities you will find the area lacking amenities. All facilities close early or are 1 or more hours away. Base has more housing than facilities. The Gym is very small and isn’t accommodating for the amount of people using the facility. There’s only 2 stores excluding the commissary. The neighboring communities is farmer orientated, if you enjoy pests and dust this is it for you. If this is your first duty station I am so so sorry.

You can if you stay at their motel their suppose to along with a swimming pool and a few other things they have

Yes and no to second question, you or someone you know has to be in the military or a veteran to go on the base. Answer to first question, it depends on what type admission your talking about it free I'm sure everything is on except the commissary, clothing stores, motel possibly the pool area. But it is free to get base but as I said the person has to in the military or a veteran
They have a bus that runs from ops side to main and housing
There is a big clinic/hospital on base if your not on base lots of providers accept tricare just call around. Or call the number on the card and ask them. Good luck.

I think the rooms are prioritized for active duty but it doesn't hurt to call and ask. Look up Navy gateway inn and suites for the phone number. As long as you can get on base you should be able to stay in a room.

I believe so, I'm not 100%. If there are, there will have to be space for you of course. And you'd have to be willing to maybe make many stops between here and wherever you're going.
They work at the vet clinic and are the health inspectors for the food establishments on base

If you do not have one you can apply for a pass at the truck inspection station. Takes roughly 2 hours to be processed

Yes. But it will cost you. If there are availabilities your sailor can get you a place at the navy gateway inns.
No you have to have a military ID or if you know some one with one you can go with them but you need to bring your ID if you do anything bad that person gets there military took away
