worst hotel ever. We are here for a business trip for several weeks. I asked for fresh bed linen five times this week and it was never changed. the floor has not been vacuumed once for three weeks and the rest of the hotel is also unhygienic and dirty everywhere. Tomorrow we will inform the manager about this because the reception staff do not take you seriously or respect you at all. unfortunately it is not possible for us to change hotels because the customer takes over the payment. But if you have the choice, then definitely choose another hotel!

DO NOT stay here! Stay here if you do not want any room service. Seriously, the front desk told us we had to request fresh towels, our bed made, and our floors vacuumed. Stay here if you don’t mind walking through trash in the hallways and carpet that has not been vacuumed in weeks….maybe months. Stay here if you want to watch the blame game go back and forth from night staff, to day staff, to night staff. Sadly, we have family in town and need a place to stay from time-to-time and had hopes this would be a place we would return to. Not a chance. I guess we can blame the day staff…no, the night staff….no, the lack of Holiday Inn Express to monitor their hotels. Off to Hampton Inns where we have had much better service and accommodations. We will see you there.

Our stay at LaGrange, KY was not what we're used to from Holiday Inn Express. The check-in was fine. We had a two queen bed room with a pull-out couch. Upon getting to our room there was a lot of loud music and noise from the room next door. We were unable to move room as they said there wasn't an open room. The front desk staff addressed the occupants and they finally did quiet down, it was after midnight after all. A short time later the noise started up again. We had no sheets for the pull out so I made a trip down to the front desk where I was told they would bring some up to us. When the front desk staff came up they inquired about the noise (despite it being obvious that it was loud again) so they addressed the issue again and it quieted down for gord this time. I then went to put the bedding on the pull-out and the blanket had holes in it. It was fast approaching 1am so we just used them as they seemed clean. The next morning when we went to get ready for the rest of our road trip home we found we were short towels. I made my second trip down to the front desk where I found a very tired employee, asleep. It took two attempts to wake her to ask for the towels. I'm not sure what she was dreaming about but she seemed angry when she arose from her slumber to fetch me towels. I expressed my sympathies with her about night shifts being long, I'm a shift worker myself. When we came down for breakfast it was the usual high quality offerings that we enjoy at HIE, it's one of our reasons for staying exclusively with this brand. Upon cleaning up our tables I found all the garbage cans to be stuffed to the brim and I felt guilty leaving my stuff piled on top of the mountain of paper plates. Now listen, none of these things are catastrophic failures and I understand that life happens, but it's these little things that make the difference. I tell people not to bother staying anywhere else other than IHG properties because the experience has always been excellent for us and it's that consistency that we look for when we're on family road trips. I hope these comments are recieved with an eye to fine tuning the guest experience, which is the spirit in which they are given. No guests or staff were harmed in the above described events ;) Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this... I believe the building is wooden framed so foot noise and noises in general travel through the units more easily than the brick and concrete structures.

Stayed here overnight on our way to Texas. It is a pretty clean hotel with newer amenities and easy access from I-71. We arrived at 9 pm and we left before 8 am. Our room was two queen bed room on the fourth floor and was spacious, even with 2 kids. It was clean minus a few light stains on the comforter, sheets, and floor and had plenty of room for your luggage. Nothing major and everything smelled clean like it had been recently washed. The beds were comfy and so were the pillows. The main complaint I have about this hotel is sound. The walls don't seem too thick because we could hear music/TVs from neighboring rooms and then there were SO many loud people in the hallway through 1am (people are not the hotels fault though), so we had a hard time going to sleep which was really frustrating since we have a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Breakfast was excellent. They had a variety of hot and cold foods. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It is unfortunate that all the loud people can ruin an experience, but again, not necessarily the hotels fault.
