Pros: Its easy to book an appointment online There are a variety of services, and times There are a variety stylists online Denice is a great stylist: she does well with providing a consultation, shampooing, and twisting locs. I'm sure she provides other services as well. Cons: You may not get the person you booked online. I don't like that. For some people it may be easy to hop in and out of a stylist seat at a whim. For me there is anxiety in having someone do my hair for the first time. I booked Denise 3 times. The 3rd time I guess she wasn't available and they had someone else complete my wash and twist. I did not like the way she washed my hair nor her twisting. She was a little rough for my taste. She used her finger nails to scratch my scalp during the wash. When she twisted my locs she put them in a pony tail and then pulled individual strands from the pony tail to twist them. My locs are long, down to my bottom The way she was doing it was painful. My hair is too long for that. A hair clip would be more appropriate. So that's a big negative to me. Its like pre-ordering fil a mignon and then when you go to pick it up they give you a burger....no, that's a big negative to me. Update: After posting my review I was contacted by the owner asking about how the issue could be rectified. She was prompt in responding to my review and courteous. I upgraded my review from a 3 to a 4. She said I would be notified in the future if the stylist I select needs to cancel. I appreciate her contacting me.

PLEASE READ!!!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEM!!!! Let me tell how these people stole my money and refused to give it back. I made an appointment for a micro retwist and other services on May 25, 2022. My deposit was between $145 and $150 which was taken out of my account immediately after booking my appointment. A week after I made my appointment I had an emergency, and I was not going to make it. When I cancelled my appointment, I saw that I was NOT going to receive any percentage of my deposit because it says I was cancelling one week exactly before my appointment date which would have been June 8th. So, I went on their website and called the number and at first, I was on hold for 15 to 20 mins before I was hung up on. Then, when I called back a young lady answered, I explained my situation to her, and she told me the only thing I could do to receive some type of money back was to order products off their website that would have equal my deposit. She then told me that I should text the number the products I wanted and my address so they could ship it to me. I was told that the products would be shipped out the following day and I should receive the products the following week. I was also told that she would send me a tracking number when the products were shipped. I followed her instructions to the tee and waited. After waiting almost 2 months, I did not receive my products or any communication whatsoever. After that, I decided to warn people about my experience and so I wrote a review on google. After writing my review, I called them again to find out what happened to me receiving the products for my deposit. The young lady was very passive aggressive with me on the phone when she was telling me that I should have called before I left the review on google. I then proceeded to tell her that if they had follow through with what I was told, I wouldn’t have wrote the review. The lady then proceeded to tell me that if I remove the review then she will ship my products the same day, and I should receive them the following week. I did as told and once again they failed on their end. It is now September 12th and I have not received the products or any communication from them AGAIN. I understand that they are trying to run a business, but I felt as though giving them a week notice was better than a day or two before my actual appointment date. I don’t appreciate the fact that they took my money without having even received a service. As a black individual trying to support a black business, I do not appreciate the customer service I received and the lack of caring. I am sure everyone worked hard for what they have and the mere fact that I booked an appointment, cancelled but was told I could order products ( that I did not need/want) to receive an equivalent of my deposit for a service I did not even receive blows my mind. I will NOT remove my review this time around, because people need to see how dishonest they are. This is straight up DISHONESTY and if they continue down this path, they will no longer have a business.

I had an appointment about a month ago and the manager or owner was supposed to do my hair first it was for 11 I came and she asked for me to come back for 2 I came and the lady wasn't their she took almost a HR to get there I told her I wanted my deposit refund and to cancel the appointment I can't believe I even stayed there that long as a person well she never gave me my refund this place is sad af most definitely unprofessional the North side for sure HORRIBLE BUSINESS

Hey Tiffany Once you goofle then click on website the 1st thing you should see is a red booking tab. If not then click on the 3 lines on the top right corner. It gives you the services provided and technicians. All the technicians are great and the shop set up is nice and personal. And Nate is right about them taking walk-ins as well.
