This is a nice place with a good beach atmosphere. The staff is friendly and quick on refills. We went during a super busy time. The fries someone in our party got were really good. Now here are the reasons for 4 and not 5 stars. The food was good but not great. The shrimp was overcooked. The crab dip was good but there were 4 people in our party and the chips that came with the crab dip were delicious but there were like 2 chips per person so half the dip was left because who wants to double dip? I still would have given 5 stars but we were seated at the tables up front and people at the bar kept bumping into our chairs. There needs to be either a divider or no tables there. I felt like people were right on top of me the whole time I was eating.

Always a pleasure to at Mad Crabber. Food is awesome and the staff is excellent. Try the local favorites from the menu! You won’t be disappointed. Grilled scallops were cooked perfect and love the wasabi sauce, my all time favorite. Our waitress was on top of everything, I wish I could remember her name but they entire staff has always been awesome. Thank you Mad Crabber for a great experience!

This was the plate of food I got there. It was just amazing. We all had different plates and everything was great. I recommend having dinner here if you're in outter banks Avon area.
