The recently hired pharmacy manager, Jessica Peterson, at my local Walgreens in Washington NC is unprofessional, unethical and honestly should be fired. I have had issues with this person every month since she started working. She refuses to fill my prescription and lies about why she continues to delay it— she sends it in for prior authorization and when that goes through, she’ll resend it to insurance. She won’t allow me to pay cash for it (despite every other pharmacy I’ve ever been to for years in Raleigh, Charlotte, etc having no problem doing that) but won’t give me a clear explanation as to why. She will not give her name when asked repeatedly over the phone and has hung up on me twice in the past two months. She obviously has some personal problem and her demeanor suggests she knows more about my medical diagnoses and prescribed treatments than my own doctors. She asserts her minute amount of power whenever possible with the most disdainful attitude I’ve ever encountered in customer service. I’ve never written a formal complaint or left a negative review in my life but felt compelled to warn other patients— if you have the option take your scripts somewhere else! This pharmacy manager continuously oversteps her authority and acts in a manner unfit for her position. Unfortunately, after twenty years, I have transferred our family’s prescriptions to CVS because of this one employee. No one wants to work with her or deal with her and the only thing left to do is take my business elsewhere because she is so disagreeable, judgmental, unprofessional and immature. She has just now initiated the process of refilling this same prescription for the THIRD TIME today after delaying it for two full days now. She does this on purpose every month so that it won’t be ready for pickup until tomorrow since the pharmacy closes at 8pm. And that’s IF someone else is working and she’s not there to delay it all day tomorrow as well. I have received a ridiculous amount of notifications throughout the day updating me on the status of this prescription. These countless delays shown by these records should speak to the unprofessionalism of this employee, Jessica. I’ve also included screenshots of a number of google reviews left in the past 6 months regarding the terrible service and unacceptable behavior by the pharmacy staff. Something needs to be done. Jessica needs to be reprimanded, at the very least transferred to another location and at best, fired and never hired at another Walgreens again!

The Walgreens in Washington, NC is beyond bad. We have used Walgreens in Raleigh for years and have never had a bad experience. As others have stated, if I could, I would give zero stars. If I had to score each visit to this pharmacy independently, I would give every visit a zero. I do not understand how with all the bad reviews over a long period of time store nor corporate management has done something. We have had to return 2-4 times for every order over the last 9 months. We currently live 30 miles away so getting a text or call that a scrip is ready should give us confidence that it is ..... nope. On one scrip my husband went and they didn't have it. I received an email saying it was ready so I went. Myra (this has been at least 4 months ago and I still remember her name) spent 20 minutes going through bin after bin trying to find it. With no success she pulled up records and said my mother did not have that medication on file. She absolutely had it on file and I had the email. She basically told me tough $%^&, I'd have to have the doctor send in a new scrip. They have mislabeled bottles which could be life threatening. They switched the labels on 2 bottles. They had on a special shampoo that my mother should use it 7x a day for 2 months!!! It should have been "Use every 3-4 days". Being generous, I would say in 9 months I have had 3 people be professional and nice. I am now calling my refills in to the store I used in Raleigh far enough in advance that I can pick them up when in town. My husband and I have decided we will use Caremark for all our ongoing drugs, use the Raleigh location for my mother and O'Neill's for any prescriptions addressing an immediate need. This month I have sent 3 emails to corporate offices, copying to managers of restaurants/stores where I have received outstanding service. Professionalism and a good attitude cannot be excused by the pandemic. I wish people that have no choice the best of luck.

Really, 0 stars. Do not leave prescriptions with this store. They are the poorest managed pharmacy imaginable. Somebody there is bold face lying: I drove 15 minutes to pickup 3 prescriptions. 1 had been filled. The lady at the …

Yes we do, but call in advance to make sure that they’re in stock
If you're asking if you can return something to the store that you ordered online, the answer is yes. I've done that with no issue at all.
Have no idea! Look it up!!!!!!!
Yes, as long as it’s not a controlled there are some rules to those.
