Yes, it is only open limited hours on Saturdays and you have to be with a guided tour.

Hi - dogs are not allowed on our shuttles (SLO Safe Ride) nor at the actual light station. This rule was put in place by the Port San Luis Harbor District who holds the deed to the land here. Thank you for your interest and I hope to see you at the lighthouse! Deb Foughty, Executive Director
