this place had the absolute worse service. no one ever answers the phone and my outpatient experience was so bad, it was more triggering to be there then to be at home. the staff doesnt really care when u have a mental breakdown, they just try to shut you up and get you back into the outpatient room as soon as they can. it was too much money and it did not do anything for me. it was a complete waste of money and was a ridiculously bad experience. 0/10, if u have a choice, dont go

I was sent here 4 times each time being worse. the staff is rude and the therapist are liars. NOBODY THERE ACTUALLY CARES!!! I was treated terribly and was lied too constantly I did not feel safe here they accepted me there but DID NOT have room for me. They did not help me at all i definitely suggest sending your children somewhere else. i needed help and they made me feel worse. I’ve been sent to other places over this area that have really helped! last choice option!

I was a student a SBHS and the staff was great to be around. It was great to be at a site that I could learn a lot from. Dr. Rajput is always available to help us learn applying our knowledge in difficult settings. They have a superb staff of doctors, nurses therapists and pharmacists that put in place great plans for patients.

PLEASE PLEASE don't bring your child here! My child came out more traumatized coming out then going in! They offered no support to the kids. There were fights. My 12 yr old was mixed with other ages. The staff would just sit and be on phone, or joking around. There was hardly any outside. No windows. One call a day. 1 visit a week. My child begged me to come home. For such a scary situation the whole family is going thru, this place made it totally worse!

I stayed there for 10 days and i lowkey miss it, i felt safe and it felt timeless I really needed that and I miss the staff. Especially my bestfriend renz! Hey renz, if u see this I miss you and I miss your chillness. I need it rn but o well.
Same! My blanket I’ve had since I was born got “lost” when the staff took my things and put me on “all restrictions” because I didn’t like a Staff Worker’s aura(it was a dark crimson color, scary yet inviting) Aka Mama Jackie...hey Mama Jackie! If you’re reading this, know I’m the girl that said “Yo!”. Oh! That reminds me! 9:00pm is too late for a child to go to sleep and then not letting them go to their bed to sleep until after we read our card things...SUCKS! Change that! You NEED to change that! You have us up from 7:00am till, sometimes if “the side with the hot showers” came and read their cards with us, 10:00pm! I (and many others) fell asleep at around 8:00pm once or twice! It sucks!!!! And another complaint is that I heard that the my “medicine doctor” say to put 5x the normal amount that was supposed to be given to a normal teen so they don’t fall on their face while walking to their room to sleep with no blankets. So thx for that traumatizing experience!
Tbh it gives me flashbacks
i was there twice there are bugs they almost killed someone with medicine and they countue to give it to her and the staff swings first
Dramatic changes in your day to day, thoughts of death, if u have a plan, access, previous attempts, etc.. there's a lot of diff things that may be a factor. It's diff for each individual. So it depends on what symptoms you are presenting with. Hope this helps. I'm actually a licensed counselor. So if u feel u may need extra assistance in staying safe, I suggest going to your nearest emergency department. Best of luck.
yep i saw two guys fight when i was there.
Minors have to be accompanied by an adult. And all visitors must have the patients pr6ovate code to call or visit
I feel ya. I had 2 friends in there but never got any social media's -,v,- I hope their doing ok.
they have to call you from the inside and give you a code to call them. the hospital cant give out info on patients because its a hippa violation
You went to jail, why? For taking meds. With out a prescription?
Yes
Every patient has a room mate, unless they have specific restrictions, which is determined by a medical doctor or psychiatrist
Yes
Yes, it has plenty of free parking! 😊
The normal amount of time ,depending on the severity of why they’re there, is about 1-2 weeks. It’s also depending on how the staff see them. If they look better and show signs of improving they can get out on time or sometimes earlier. The only bad thing about this system is it has a lot of room for abuse. For example if a patient is being rude to a certain staff member or if the staff member doesn’t like how the patient talks to them, they can make a report about it so when the people who decide if you should leave or not see this they can choose to leave you in for a longer time. Even if the interaction has nothing to do with your own mental health. I saw once when I kid didn’t agree with one of the staff’s point during a group therapy/discussion and would continually go against what the staff was saying. The staff threatened to make a report and make him stay in the hospital longer if he didn’t agree with her.
yes..
Yes but the place sucks to choose a different hospital!! This place traumatized me and I still have night terrors about that place! So please..save yourselves from this traumatizing experience.
It takes them a lot of time to get the proper doctors in to the hospital. Then they take there sweet time and if they font think your child is a match then they reject you. Trust me this is not a place you want your son to be regardless of the severity of his symptoms.
