If you are not in their area they will give you a one time supply of food. Then they will tell you where your area pantry is located. They are very nice.

Hi Julie, Our Sheridan Site (3945 N. Sherida) is located right off the Red Line (Irving Park stop) and is accessible by bus as well. Please come by during one of our distributions which can be found here: www.lakeviewpantry.org/get-food. You will just be asked to fill out a very basic notecard and will receive approximately 2 weeks worth of groceries based on your household size.

They're crazy with the mask . Make you wear one outside standing in line. Ridiculous. Most staff is very nice however a male older volunteer thinks he owns the place and is on a real power trip. He should not be working there.

Yes, they go by some city parameters, if you go to their website they specify from which streets they cover. In case you not in the parameters just go to the website of feeding America and with your zipcode have other options as far locations and services. Hope this info helps.

I think it's pretty much the same as in person but you get to refuse things you know you won't use and some items you may get a choice of 2 or 3 things. The only thing you don't get a choice on is fresh produce. If you choose it you just get a box. And there.was.the.time I chose cheese. It didn't say what kind just cheese and I got a 5lb bag of cheddar which was a lot for me but for the most part I got the.things I wanted and in some.cases I was able to substitute items say canned green beans instead of canned corn. I found it efficient and very useful. I seldom ended up with something I couldn't use.

Sheridan Rd. in Lakeview distributes food every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 3pm and also Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm. El Mercadito in partnership with La Casa Norte at 3533 W. North Ave. in Humboldt Park distributes food Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am to 2pm. Hi Darlena, Our pet pantry in partnership with One Tail at a Time is on the last Wednesday of every month at 3945 N. Sheridan Rd. from 11am to 2pm.
