Omg, this place is amazing. The people are friendly and helpful. Not only that but they provided me with a lot of food. They have a large variety of things to choose from. I am super thankful.

I'm so thankful to have found such a wonderful place.....they helped me when I though all was lost and I had nowhere to turn.

Rude, not accommodating to the disabled. I was trying to bring my disabled mom while also caring for my 8 month old and the lady with red heart sunshades wouldn't allow me in to pick her up. So I waited in the line per the rules and was directed to park although my mother wouldn't know where I was. I asked the guy in that parking lot if he could check he refused. So 40 minutes go by and I open my truck pull out the stroller and grab my baby then he offers to help. My mother was done shopping and limping around the parking lot. Long story short listen to people, not everybody's trying to beat your system.

Hello Maryann, We serve DuPage county. I would suggest checking in with your Kendall County Food Pantry in Yorkville or perhaps a food pantry in Aurora.
Yes
I believe loaves and fishes might help with food one time. I agree with Natalie, to google. Holy Angels is a good place to start. They also have other programs of help, other than food distribution. Good luck, and may the Lord be with you βΊ
It is free. Bring bags.
There are tons from what I've seen in the past. Just call them up, they are extremely friendly! A great organization.
We do! We have a Lions Club prescription glasses receptacle in our volunteer area, but they can also be dropped off at our reception desk and we'll place them there. Thank you!
If you are in Aurora, try Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry...it is in Aurora
No Tuesday. Thursday, Saturday 9-3pm great place to go
Thanks for the question! Our distribution hours/days are Tues 9am-3pm, Wednesday 9am-3pm, Thursday 9am-3pm and 5-7pm, Saturdays 8am - 11:30am. You will need a photo ID and utility bill or lease showing residency in DuPage County.
If you have children, you will need birth certificates as well as your utility bills and an ID showing that you are a resident in DuPage County
I don't know, call the main number they should be able to connect you with someone that knows the answer.
If you call them, they will tell you.
Ide call them just to b sure u dont want to make an unnecessary trip
Hello Anne, We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience. We would like to learn more about what happened so that we can address the problem swiftly. Please give us a call.
Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation to Loaves & Fishes.
No, I think calling the main number; you will be directed to the right individual.
Yes, the place offers many types of help. Contact them to see how they can help you.
Your income is irrelevant..as long as you live within their communities, show proof of address(utility bill) and a ID..they will service you! π
We do only serve residents of DuPage County, but here is a link to find food assistance in your area: http://solvehungertoday.org/get-help/where-to-get-food/.
Maybe between 6pm to 7pm usually after work!
Anyone I am Muslim and everyone respects me and like me. Above all they appreciate everything anybody does. We are all here to help each other . I really enjoy volunteering there
You're supposed to have a utility bill in your name. But they will work with you. If you have a bank account statement they've told me in the past that this is acceptable too. Even if you have nothing with your names on it still go in and talk to them. They have never turned me and my family away. There was a time we had no address, no bills in our name, nothing.... They have never turned my family away. Plus ask to sit down with someone there. They have amazing resources available for you. Talk to them. They will find a way to help you. Not to mention this is the best food pantry/resource center I've ever worked with.
Agreed that loaves and fishes is for DuPage county residents. However, also agree if you are not aware of a similar agency in your area, you should contact L&F for advise on similar agency in your area.
All eligible residents of DuPage County may shop every seven days. Hope this information is helpful!
You should call and find out. They might be open but not too sure
Some of Aurora is Dupage County
Resident of Naperville and need a document to prove it
