What a special place! The manager and all the Village of Schaumburg employees really care about each and every person. The center converted to a drive-through operation with online programs during to the pandemic and things have been returning to a new normal. Way to go! If you are new to the center, ask for someone to show you around. BTW, there's also a monthly book club.

As a person who has had a disability for almost 40 years of my life, it’s nice to see that the prices come down on meals for wheels from when they were helping me several years ago and charging me $10 per meal. Keep up the good work! One day the mission should be to ride nutritious meals for disabled people and disabled senior citizens at no cost delivered to their home like other meals on wheels provide!

Because this place is a municipal building with a community wide food program (community nutrition network). You have the power of two organizations working together to make their mission the best it can be. The village recently updated the kitchen area to make it even easier to work in. The senior Barn had been in operation over 25 years. The current administrator has been in charge 6+ years. People over the age of 60 need to give this place a try.
