Staff weren’t the best I wasn’t listened too when I needed meds staff liked to argue back and staff would throw your belongings everywhere because they “felt like it” diet limitations weren’t met. I left the hospital on meds that made me sleep all day and felt worse then when I came to the place I wouldn’t recommend going pick a different place.

I was at this hospital for over a month back in January and this is absolutely the worst psych hospital in Chicago!The staff does not care about patients well being at all.Me and many other patients were abused and neglected by staff.Please do not send your child to Garfield park hospital no matter what it’s a horrible place!

Well personally nothing like that happened while I was there neither did the other patients go through that.

Wake up 7 opportunity to take a shower then breakfast groups back to back til 1145 then Alitalia free time then lunch then group art therapy if not on elopement or suicide precautions s u can go to the cafeteria then the gym then art therapy more groups at the end of the day shower medicine then bed
