The tail feathers are under the arrows held in the talons if the eagle. You would count each one. There are several varieties of this coun including 7 over 8 tail feathers. This coin will range in price depending on condition and variety. We have them from 20 dollars up to a few hundred. But in mint state condition they can go up to thousands
