Warning: My experience talks about end of life for a pet. We took our elderly cat to Banfield when she suddenly started going downhill one day, and they welcomed us with open arms despite us mixing up appointment dates and arriving a day early. And just before closing. The staff were thorough with their tests and diagnostics, and when prompted, did not sugar coat the prognosis, all while maintaining a great degree of empathy. They allowed us time to get my family together (we live 10 minutes away) to say our goodbyes, even if they were closed. The woman who helped us send our cat off to a better place was calm, and explained the process to us in simple words. And they gave us time to prepare and gather ourselves. About a week later we received a card in the mail from the team at Banfield writing their condolences, with each staff member writing their own section. While this was not a happy experience due to circumstance, I am extremely grateful for all they have done, and will be sure to return for my other cats!

I've never been to a Banfield office that is not within a PetSmart. The staff at this location was awesome, very pleasant and helpful. I recommend anybody that has services through Banfield visit and live in the Danville area, that you take your pet to this location, they will be very happy

Dr Kelty is an awesome doctor. The front desk staff is super helpful and so unlike the more traditional Banfield in pet smart. I always choose to go there even though it's a long drive from Fremont, since i know my pet child gets good care there. Like it is supposed to be, but isn't always. So glad for Dr Kelty and this Banfield location

Hello Gordon - In the event that you have made the difficult decision to end a diminished quality of life in a humane manner, Banfield offers several end-of-life services for dogs and cats, including euthanasia and assistance with farewell decisions such as burial ceremonies and cremation. We strongly encourage you to speak with your Banfield veterinarian about your options.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
