The food was amazing. The portions were very generous especially for the price. Our waiter was so fantastic. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

This place is amazing! Went late on a Friday night, staff was super friendly and welcoming even though dinner service was almost over. Everything came out fresh, hot, flavorful and delicious. I recommend any of their naan and the butter chicken was to die for. Overall, best Indian food I have found in this part of Maine. I'll definitely be back!!

If you are ever in Portland Maine and enjoy Indian food or something different, you need to try out this restaurant. I have been cooking and eating Indian food since my early teens and the food at Hi Bombay is priceless! This little hole in the wall is a gem! One doesn’t go there for the ambience but only for the food and staff! The staff are amazing. My waiter Syd, was amazing! He even gave me tips on how to make a better Indian sauce during our conversation. This place is the best, and cannot wait to go back when I visit Maine again. 5+ stars from me
