When your business is open until 2pm you should accommodate customers until that time. We drove a half hour to eat at a restaurant we like just to get turned away because we walked in at 1:32 pm and seating stops at 1:30. Whatever happened to the idea that the last customer is as important as the first? I completely understand the labor market right now , but your posted hours should reflect what actually occurs.

We discovered Bayou Kitchen when searching for brunch spots in the Portland area. All the reviews we read were positive and we couldn't agree more. The smells are incredible, even before you get through the front door. The staff is friendly and laid back, even though it was incredibly busy. The food is very good and definitely has a southern flair to it. Judging by the crowd, this is a popular place, and with good reason. If you are in the Portland, Maine area, definitely give Bayou Kitchen a try!!
