Absolutely amazing. The wedding staff was amazing, and so were the drinks. I have to go back to explore it one day.

The wine was decent, but not a great place for kids as far as getting your money's worth...

Yes she is. I bet she would love it
They definitely do winter weddings. There are beautiful pictures on their website showcasing the winter weddings they have done. And they do allow outside catering - and have a list of their preferred vendors
Charlevoix inn and suites is the only choice. The rest seam to be more like a motor inn
The guided tour, highly recommend, was $20 for an adult. Plus gratuity for your guide at the end, if you're so inclined. You could just go and wander around if you like. Not sure about times though. I will say that you should consider going Mon-Thur as they get quite busy on the weekends with weddings.
They decorate depending on what you are wanting. They set up the tables & chairs & They do clean up afterwards. They have people they suggest who can cater for you. How many guests you can have depends on which venue spot will work for your guest list. My daughter has a small list, so we picked the smallest venue spot of 40 people.
Yes! They have food now, they have a little bistro with their 1918 cellar area. I think they have a menu on their website.
We spent 2.5 hours there doing the self guided tour and didn't get to see everything because we came too close to closing time. It's a beautiful, magnificent place to tour, I'd air on the side of giving yourself too much time rather than not enough.
If your talking abt train display outdoors, then yes
Only service dogs.
Check out AirBnB for Charlevoix & Petoskey & maybe Harbor Springs.
There is a fee to enter and a fee for the guided tour but the self pace tour is no extra charge.
