My mom could not be happier with the support she has received from Arlene at A Center for Marriage Counseling. She started getting guidance one on one and then in a group in 2006 for a short while. Arlene was able to quickly guide her towards a better perspective and towards materials she could read on her own to help herself when needed. She visits once every two years or so for what she calls a tune up visit. Mom says therapy doesn't get much better than that! I'm sure it has helped the life I've had growing up with her too.

The first time I went to see Arlene, I felt alien and unnerved. Quickly, those feelings disappeared and were replaced with those of support, encouragement and warmth. I joined group, and it has become a nurturing place where I have experienced the bulk of my emotional growth over the past 12 years. I would not be the person I am today without it.
