My mom could not be happier with the support she has received from Arlene at A Center for Marriage Counseling. She started getting guidance one on one and then in a group in 2006 for a short while. Arlene was able to quickly guide her towards a better perspective and towards materials she could read on her own to help herself when needed. She visits once every two years or so for what she calls a tune up visit. Mom says therapy doesn't get much better than that! I'm sure it has helped the life I've had growing up with her too.

I worked at A Center for Marriage Counseling as Arlene's office manager/assistant for eight years while I myself was in graduate school training to become a therapist. During my time at the counseling center I had countless contacts with clients who consistently described overwhelmingly positive and beneficial experiences working with Arlene and Jacqueline. I myself was impressed by their empathy, compassion, and dedication to helping couples develop happier and more fulfilling relationships. I recommend A Center for Marriage Counseling without hesitation. Chris Grundy, PsyD Licensed Psychologist

Arlene is the real deal! If you want to start living your life, I promise you she won't disappoint you!! I have been going to Arlene for many years and I always leave her office feeling so inspired by her wisdom. She brings me to a new level of thinking and focuses on living my values!! Her techniques are truly a different way of thinking and doing, and I am so grateful Arlene is in my life!! Most importantly, my relationship is wonderful because we use her skills and save our disagreements for when we see Arlene! Thank you, Arlene!

The first time I went to see Arlene, I felt alien and unnerved. Quickly, those feelings disappeared and were replaced with those of support, encouragement and warmth. I joined group, and it has become a nurturing place where I have experienced the bulk of my emotional growth over the past 12 years. I would not be the person I am today without it. I went from being in an unhealthy relationship, to being free, light and full of love. It all happened because of the skills I learned in that room. My life is full and vibrant now, and I owe gratitude to Arlene and all of the people who have sat in that group room with me over the years. Of all of the choices I have made in my life, going to group is the cornerstone. It laid the foundation on which the rest of my life is built. My life is now full of meaning and purpose. I have sent many a friend and colleague to group over the years, and have even sent an enemy or two. Going to group changed my life, and I hate to think where I would be now if I had never have been so lucky to wander in there.
