Came here for a short hike, it was super hot that day so we cut it short. We came on a Sunday it was a basically empty. Only 2 other families in this area. People were on boats and jet skis and it looked so fun. We wish we brought our swimming gear! Parking is $12/car.

That would be a question for the party rangers. You'd have to walk in since they closed the gates at dusk. So I'm guessing no.
Not right now...closed because of low lake level.
The spot I was at isn't a river it's a lake a very big lake. I saw lots of people kayaking. Not sure about the river that comes into lake.
