My father recommended this location several years ago. Since then, we have stayed here multiple times and always been more than satisfied with the value and quality. This is one of the cleanest Motel 6’s we have seen across the United States too. It is a plus to have the candy and nut mega store/gas station next door as well!

Of all things to give 5 stars for, its the shower! No joke, but more on that later. What good is a review without a story attached. We are working in Death Valley for the week and staying in Beatty. The last time we stayed here in November our employer put us up in the Stagecoach hotel, which was nice. On this trip, an extra person came along. Unfortunately the Stagecoach was sold out. I sacrificed my room to him and chose to stay at the Motel 6 instead. Hey, I am a nice guy. I have stayed at Motel 6s before, so my expectations weren’t high. But, I am only sleeping here so I don’t need much; a bed and a shower. I explained my situation to the desk clerk, he went out of his way to give me the room of my choice at a nice discount. The first thing I did was shower. Let me tell you, I stay in a lot of hotels. I usually hate the showers because the water is always soft and slow. Its a struggle getting soap washed off. The shower at this motel 6 is like Niagara Falls. No joke, its warm and has the pressure of a fire hose. My friends, that is how all showers should work. If we ever work in this area again, I will make it a point to stay at the Motel 6

We frequently stay in A Motel 6 when traveling due to their pricing and being pet friendly. This Motel 6 is one of the best we’ve stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms clean with comfortable beds and towels that are fresh and thick. Parking is good with space for rigs that are towing. There are dining options nearby along with a store that has snacks, souvenirs, ice cream and a coffeeshop.

Front desk in the evening/night shift certainly need a proper training (sorry I didn’t get the name but he is a male around the age of 50s). Two major issues: 1. Despite of My6 reservation confirmation, the front desk told me that I don’t have room (when I arrived at 10:45pm) as my room is assigned to someone else by mistake and hotel is sold out. Later he somehow managed to give me a room. I don’t know how if it was solid out earlier. He indeed screw my My6 reservation somehow as the guest name on my My6 reservation changed to “Harsha” whom I don’t know. 2. He charged my credit card as new reservation without a consent and didn’t attach to my My6 reservation so My6 reservation was also charged as “no-show”. Basically I’m charged twice for the 1 room 1 night stay. Front desk in the morning shift (Autumn) was helpful to call the customer care but I still see 2 charges for 1 night stay which looks like I’ll have to call the customer care or file a dispute for one of the charge.
