I was 10 min. late for a 4:00 appt. And understand I was late. But they were so rude and refused to take me for an ultrasound to see if I have a blood clot. No explanation that they were busy or short staff. Just a lady standing at the counter looking like she was waiting to go home. Now would you trust the quality of their work?

I will preface this to say, I've never written a review of anything on the internet. I am new to the Tulare/Visalia area and was referred there by my doctor. I have several health issues and as such, I have had my fair share of MRI's. This is one of THE best MRI experiences I've ever had from the very beginning to the end. My scheduler Devon is one of the kindest persons I've encountered in a medical practice. She made me feel like we had all the time in the world, she never rushed me or made me feel like just another $ to be made. She answered every question I had and personally called the day before to remind me of my appointment and that I can't eat or drink. The front desk girls were quite a stark contrast. They felt very unwelcoming and cold. They closed the glass window before I could even finish my sentence. My MRI scanner Loraina was so nice and very funny. She also took the time to answer my last minute questions. Overall a great experience!!

You can list all physicians when you register for your exam. If you have already completed your exam please use our Records Request tab on our website Visaliaimaging.com where you can list all physicians that need it as well as yourself
If you were supposed to be NPO=Fasting, they would have informed you, they open at 6:30a.m, so... to be safe, don't eat/drink until you are sure. My guess: it may not matter because it is the shoulder. Nothing to do with stomach, abdominal area. However, I am not a health professional. Ask them ASAP. Hope you feel better soon !
Yes they have a truly Open MRI where there are no sides and the top comes down to your height and then they have a big tube closed MRI that's bigger than normal so check and find out you might fit in the in the closed MRI I did and I way to 275 and if you're claustrophobic like I am they're great at sedation just have your doctor let them know and they take care of you great over there
We ask that all patients scheduled for a Pelvic Ultrasound drink 32 ounces of water 1 hour prior to their exam. The Technologist will take a few images then let you empty your bladder before finishing the exam. The are not eating restrictions for pelvic ultrasound only for the Abdominal Ultrasound.
