It’s the worst bank ever. Every time I’m trying to make a deposit in the atm north hills location it’s always not available. I’m really regretted to do business with this location.

I've been a member here for over a year and I'm debating on finding a new bank to work for my very minimal, basic banking needs. When I first started going to this specific branch, it was great, easy in and out trips. Now, there's always a line and I expect to be waiting around here for 20 minutes. Also, recently, the online bank app is rarely operating correctly. Today's experience also kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I recently got married and had a check with my husband's name AND my name on it. It didn't go through on the app or at the ATM, so I went in. I felt kind of uncomfortable as I almost felt like the two workers thought I was trying to scheme them or something when I told them how the check didn't get deposited. After they verified my story was true, I was proceeded to be told the check couldn't be cashed because my husband doesn't have an account with them. Which I can understand if that's a policy, but I haven't seen anything online saying that's a policy and I have also previously cashed multiple checks from our wedding reception party that had both of our names on it and they deposited easily on the app. The check in "questioning" does look different from other checks, so I figured that's why it may not be depositing on the app or ATM? After I told my husband about today's experience he said he doesn't want an account with them. I'm going to try to go to another GNCU branch for future endeavors and hope I can get better customer service before completing disregarding GNCU.
