The review of Melissa Shelton is exaggerated. She made her reservation online but did not read all of the instructions. The cost for an in-town rental is less than a one-way rental in most cases and especially when the vehicle is being taken to a location close to the dispatching location. She did not read all of the instructions when she was making the reservation and she had indeed scheduled for an intown rental. She even mentioned, at our counter, the cost of the rental that she had scheduled, and it was the in-town cost. This happens frequently as people do not read all of the directions but just hit buttons. Miss Shelton was under a lot of stress as she was getting married the next day and we understand that this is a stressful time. Our agent was only trying to inform her that the reservation was submitted by Miss Shelton as an in-town rental, that she could not take the vehicle that she had reserved one-way it had to be returned to this location and that there were no one-way vehicles available at this location for that day. It is unfortunate that Miss Shelton felt that she was treated so poorly. We hope her wedding was a perfect day.

The woman owner was incredibly rude. It was a busy morning when I went up there with my fiance and dad to pick up our rental and there were several people in line in front of us. I saw her interacting with them all so I knew she was abrasive and was prepared for that and didn't foresee any issue with speaking to her when it was my turn. Two men cut in front of me when it was my turn, presumably they were coming back in from some earlier dilemma and it didn't bother me. So when I finally got to the counter, she made very suggestive and judgemental remarks about their intentions with the rental, even though she still handed them the keys... I thought it was very unprofessional and I wasn't sure if it was that one of the men didn't have his driver's license that upset her, or it was that she had some other problem with them. Either way, it left a sour taste in my mouth on her comments. So then, it's my turn. I reserved my truck online selecting to pick up there and return to a few towns over as I was renting it for picking up party supplies and taking it to my home town. When she tried confirming the drop off time later THERE, I told her I had selected another town. She didn't miss a beat and told me like a disobedient dog, NO YOU AREN'T- you're returning it HERE. I tried explaining that's not what I selected online. She could have cared less, it was all about making a sale so I cancelled my reservation with her, drove 40 mins back to my hometown to rent from people who weren't rude and disrespectful. It made my day significantly longer and more tedious, but I don't regret not giving her my money.
