I had a great experience with the brown boy behind the counter going through my items. This isn't about him. This is going to be about the Clark and Milwaukee locations. This is about the person who may be his boss. A tallish, long brown haired girl telegraphing negative vibes as he and I conversed. After she rejected an item he'd asked about it was time to cash out. If I thought I was was being discriminated against before, she really drove it home by refusing the basic decency of replying "you're welcome" to multiple "thank you's" for the chump change I received for my items lol. A couple of years ago I attempted to buy a pair of jeweled snake earrings with a pearl at the base. The short blond hair, slim, very faired skinned, rocker looking girl ignored me. Took two customers in front of me. I was upset and left. Halfway down the block I realized I REALLY wanted those earrings so I came back. She made no comment as I requested customer service to take the earrings out for me. Her attitude was cold. It was clear she didn't want me there. So I remembered yesterday that that's why I never go to Buffalo Exchange. Life is hard enough for everyone. No one, regardless of what they look like should have deal with an extra dose of BS at a thrift store or anywhere else. I won't be coming back. Mission accomplished girls.

Generally pricey for the quality of the clothes, but mainly rating low stars because of the lack of size inclusivity. I tried to sell some like-new items that have been in my closet for a while (immediately pre-pandemic) and they’ll really only take things from the last season or so of trends. Staying trendy is fine, but I also know that folks looking for plus sizes might be interested in other silhouettes or just finding clothes that fit us.

You can definitely bring things in more that once.

Hi Tony! We have to see items in person to say whether or not we'd be able to take them and how much we can price them for. Your vintage Whiting & Davis bag sounds cool, though, and we'd love to take a look. There's no appointment needed to sell, so you can bring it in anytime we're open with a valid government-issued ID. If we're able to buy it, you'll receive 30% of our selling price in cash or 50% in trade. Best, Jessica
