We think that this building is awful. Pathstone bought my building a few years ago. And we thought change was a good thing but we were totally wrong. The manager here is totally rude, the maintenance pple are so lazy. I do not like living here anymore!! And pathstone is suppose to be non discriminating!! Yea right!!
A Star is Born
No help at all, told me to call landlords myself, then asked for my zipcode, what a crock of ish!!!

Are you able to contact our office at 546-3700?
Your best bet is to call 211, if you are in Monroe County. If there are agencies with funding that you qualify for, they will have that info.
Have questions
Latoya, sorry you've had a problem getting through. Did you reach us? Have you checked our website (www.thehousingcouncil.org) to see if your question can be answered there or if one of our free classes may help?
Hi, Sheena. We do not have any funds for security deposits available right now. You can try calling 211 to see if they are aware of any other agencies who might be able to assist with your specific situation. Or you can call 546-3700 tomorrow, between 9am and noon, when you can speak directly with a housing counselor who may be aware of other programs.
Hi, Robert. What is the nature of your need? We do not provide emergency services, so if that is the case, 211 might be a better resources for you. But if you want to leave contact info, I'll have a housing counselor reach out to you ASAP.
Hi, Could you give us a call tomorrow during our Housing Hotline Hours (9AM to 1PM) to speak directly to a housing counselor? The number is 546-3700. They can provide direction to assist you.
Hi, Nakia Ruth. Our services include assisting future homeowners to become ready for home purchase - understanding the process, fixing any credit issues, educating them about grant eligibility, etc. Among other serives, we also assist renters and landlords in understanding their rights and responsibilities. We offer landlords the opportunity to list their available apartments in an effort to assist both. You are correct that the work to find your own home or apartment is not part of the services we offer. Our affiliate, PathStone, does offer affordable housing, so you may want to consider visiting their website if that is what you are seeking: https://pathstone.org/
Hi, Jack. The Housing Council's services do not extend out of Upstate NY, however we do have an affiliate office in Muncie. They may be able to better assist you. Here's their website with contact info: https://pathstoneindiana.org/
