This is such a beatiful place with so mucb history thats been perfectly preserved. It has all the beauty of the ohio wilderness as well as the pioneer village to shed some light on the valleys past complete with a church, schoolhouse, blacksmith and a couple cottages all original to the area. It also has plenty of places to sit and relax together by the creek with plenty of picnic tables all throughout the park and many small grilling areas for the option to cook-out when the mood strikes. They also have a nice playground for the little ones so there something here for everyone to enjoy.

New to area and exploring options for activities of all kinds . hanging out relaxing with friends for a day or extended hiking camping adventures plan of variety and beautiful areas to explore Just stopped to check it out . Definitely plan to return and check out more areas when the snow is gone and temps are warmer . trail systems, pioneer village, wildlife education center , camping something for all as ages and without spending $$$
