My wife and I have been with a few insurance agencies over the past 40 years. We couldn’t be more pleased with The Jeff Barrett Agency in North Syracuse. Jeff has always provided us with a great product and the secret to his success is with his outstanding team of Michelle and Linda. Over the several years we have been with them, these two have been impeccable. Michelle, in particular, has been our main contact and has proven herself time and time again to be knowledgable, thorough and determined. She knows so much and what she does’t know she finds out as quickly as others will provide her with the information. She always gets right back to us, every single time in a timely fashion. On top of this extraordinary “can do” attitude she is a kind and caring person who shows empathy in a world where it is in short supply. I will admit since being forced into retirement (due to covid) money has become tight and we have been tempted to price around other insurance providers. Every time it comes right back to why would we leave a service provider who has taken care of us perfectly every step of the way. When we wished to review our policies recently we chose to work with Michelle as she had such a great working knowledge of our situation. In today's business world, where customer service is declining exponentially, Michelle and Linda excel and shine. They are not just the best in the Insurance business these two professional are the top shelf in customer service.... comparing them to everyone that we do business with in these absolutely tough times. I got a call from my husband on his way home from work saying there was smoke coming from the engine of our car. At the same time he was making me aware I might be picking him up on 690 to come home to Auburn, a State Farm sponsored tow truck drove up to the car and told my husband to get out of the car because it was on fire. He put out the fire then proceeded to tow the vehicle to a garage. The car was deemed a total loss, then the tow truck driver drove my husband home. Within less than 24 hours we got a call letting us know what the payment would be for our totaled vehicle, also a rental car was set up without a beat. State Farm made a near disaster, into an experience that should be commended in more ways than one. Thank you Jeff Barrett and his team. Words can't describe our appreciation and genuine care we received.

Talked to Linda twice on the phone over the past several months regarding one of our vehicles being sold back in May 2021. I mailed the licences plates in to the DMV and never got a receipt. She continues to charge me for the insurance. There is no way to convince her of anything as she hangs up on you before the conversation ends. Sorry I made this move...we have several vehicles with them and never a claim in 50 years.
