I contacted Affordable Denture and Implants to have implants put in and a permanent denture made. After an initial consultation I chose to have their package deal done. The Package included tooth extraction, CAT Scans, bone graphs, implants (both the screws and the abutments) and the permanent denture for the implants. I had already had the extractions, bone graphs, and had dentures from a previous dentist, but was told it was less expensive to buy the package. On January 14, 2022 I paid $5,000 of the $6,995.00 because they told me I had to pay up front before work began. On my second appointment January 19, 2022 I paid the remaining $1, 995.00. The Implants (screws only) were placed and an appointment made for early May to place the abutments. When I went back in April the dentist that placed the implants told me he was retiring in May and that he was only going to do a CAT scan to check the healing process, then he would see me in mid-May to place the abutments . The Dental assistant told me to make a July appointment to get the abutments placed and the denture made. They would not make a May appointment like the doctor said. My appointment was scheduled for July 22, 2022 at 10 am. I called in late June to confirm the appointment and was told that I would not be getting the abutments on the 22 of July that they needed to do another CAT scan because they had a new dentist, so I would need to make another appointment to get the abutments and have the fitting for the denture. On July 18, 2022, I received a call that the new dentist was ill and that they were canceling all his appointments. When I tried to reschedule the young lady told me that they were looking for a temporary dentist and I would get a call back in a few weeks, then she abruptly hung up. I tried for three days to contact the office and when I couldn’t, I contacted their umbrella company Affordable Dentures and Implants. That is when I learned that the offices are franchisee owned and the Vestal office was no longer open. They were closed for good. I could make an appointment with a different office, but would have to pay the fees again and restart the process. Supposedly they were going to have customer care call me back. After many calls and emails I was finally able to get a new appointment for September 2. 2 days later I received a text telling me the appointment was “moved” to September 20th. So I decided to contact the Rochester location to see if they could complete the work that was started in January in Vestal. Apparently implants are very specific and not just any dentist can work with the implants. I ended up talking to their call center again and was told that the Rochester office may not use the same type of implants so I may have to “just wait” until Vestal found a new dentist. I pressed and got the rep to admit that the office is closed. I am now looking at trying to find a new dentist that can remove the implants, and hope that no permanent damage is done so I am unable to complete the process once my jaw heals. The process to get the implants removed could cost up to $5,000 and then I will need to pay for the process to start all over, which could cost up to $14,000 (which is why I went to affordable denture in the first place). So at this point I am either stuck with the process being half finished, or paying out another close to $20,000 and starting over. That is if the process can be redone.

Inital placement of implants went quickly and painlessly. The doctor and nurse worked well together as a team without need for discussion. With medication, no post-op pain. So far so good. 9/15/22: since my earlier review and post, I believe it was in February, things have been pretty volatile at the Binghamton office of Affordable Dentures and implants. Dr Henriques abruptly departed the practice about a month before my scheduled follow-up for implants in June. With his departure it has been simply chaos. I've had numerous exchanges with the 800# central customer service regarding the practice reopening, and it was quite clear that they had no idea what was actually taking place on the ground in Binghamton ( for example, telling me it's open, and then when I get there, the building is locked and there's a sign on the door saying closed until further notice).....although I should say the central customer service folks tried to put an optimistic spin on things. A new owner was announced at the end of July, he apparently suffered a stroke shortly thereafter and never assumed control of the practice. I won't speculate on what gave him the stroke, but I'm hopeful that he is recovering satisfactorily. To their credit, Affordable has positioned an interim prosthodontist for the last two weeks. I met this person this morning. To my observations she was very competent, articulate, thorough, and cheerful in the face of a number of patients such as myself who have been grinding our teeth for 2 months in limbo. Unfortunately she's moving on in a week. A new owner is scheduled to arrive on September 26th. I'm hopeful that turns out to be the case, but events sometimes go awry.... so I'm looking forward to seeing what actually happens. Stay tuned! I dropped them from five stars to four stars.

Have been trying to get ahold of them for weeks. What's up
I'd give them a call to be safe, there's a receptionist named Melissa there who is pretty awesome, she'll help you out!
They don't accept insurance. What they can do is, you pay upfront and they can make a paper out to you to give your insurance and the insurance can reimburse you.
They told they would pull 10 teeth and full lower plate and 3 implants 4500.00
They had a waterline break
Your best bet would be to come in for a free consultation and exam. This allows us to give you a proper estimate for your needs. Every patient is different so it really is hard to give those estimates without the consultation.
Unfortunately we do not, but if you pay up front we are more than happy to get you an ADA form for you to turn into your insurance.
Yes we do!
We do offer Conscious Sedation which is with Nitrous. But you would need to speak to the doctor about this.
No. They do novacaine unless you ask to be put to sleep believe
Unfortunately at this time we are not accepting any insurances, but you could pay the cost at time of service and we would gladly get you an ADA form to submit to insurance for reimbursement directly to you!
Unfortunately we do not.
