Worst shelter. I was trying to adopt a dog awhile ago and I couldn’t get a call back, no one ever answered the phone either. They wouldn’t let me come look at the dogs, and they wanted so much documentation it was ridiculous. These pets sleep in cages, have no families, and will be put down if not adopted out and I don’t feel like they even try to get them homes. I was almost begging to give a dog a good home and they just make it too hard. Give these pets a chance!

We adooted two kittens on Friday. The staff was wonderful. They were so friendly and helpful. They take great care of the animals. They are all so caring. We appreciate them so much.

Couldn't be more thankful for the hospitality & friendliest establishment I've ever been in. Even more grateful they took good care of my mothers dog, Bittys is over 16 she got loose and another wonderful human rescused her from being hit in the road and brought her to the hazleton animal shelter.

The family I reside with usually gives dry food no matter which way it comes. We've already given canned food too. Clothing, toys and treats too. Call and ask for Kristine. Tell her what happened. Sorry for your loss
You have to ask one of the employees to adopt the dog (or cat)
I have a kitten you want it ?
Me to I’m trying to give my rabbit away to someone that would take care of her or something or they would take her and give her a home
Hazleton animal shelter, when my dog died I donated everything to the shelter.
Why would you TRADE your cat???? You shouldn't have any animals.
A dog is $100. and cat is $60.
Due to covid-19 they request for you to call for an appointment.
Call 911they will get you in touch with the police and the police can get you in a shelter
No they dont spay only if u adopt a pet from them they do. and kids can't volenteer unless they are 17 and it has something to do with school like an internship to much liability.
I volunteered when I was in high school a few years ago. I had to have a parent sign off & proof of a tetanus shot. Things could be different, I would call or stop in.
Sometimes
Yea probably around $100, mite want to give them a call if possible.
Not sure but maybe goggle will know sorry
You can only adopt
10 to 5 weekdays
60 for a cat..... 100 for a dog. Just references. May ask fir license.
I was there 2 weeks ago.... the only small animals they had were hamsters.
Go to shelter with proper identification, proof the dog is yours and the fee to get your dog back
I would not recommend going to the Hazleton Animal Shelter they are extremely rude and don't actually want to adopt out their animals
