I ordered and received a SATA 320 GB hard drive from Maven Technologies in 2018. The wrong size arrived so I immediately asked for an exchange for a SATA 2.5 replacement for the SATA 3.5 they sent. I have a confirmation email dated Sep 26, 2018 confirming they would notify me when a suitable replacement could be sent. I put the 3.5 unit aside on a shelf and waited for notification they had a replacement. They apparently neglected to find a replacement and notify me, as I discovered in January 2022.. When I contacted the company , they acknowledged the error, saying the person who made the promise was temporarily their online sales person, because the regular online sales person was on maternity leave. Apparently the temporary person never notified the regular online sales person. Now they are refusing to honor the agreement they made with me, saying it is out of warranty and too much time has past. No warranty is involved. This was a customer service error, and no time limit was specified for replacing the unit. I discovered THEIR error. The online sales person I contacted regarding this problem has never returned my calls, and has not replied to my emails since Jan 26. I have been waiting since Jan 25 for a resolution of this matter. Meanwhile, I have a hard drive failing on my computer and need the replacement hard drive. Under the current circumstances, I would not do business with this company again.
