Don't take your packages here. Don't trust the staff. They'll take whatever you are sending and deliver empty packaging marked as "damaged goods," or it just won't ever leave the building. I'm tired of making these reports about it, USPS doesn't do anything for their customers or for the staff that is committing crimes.

The guy behind the counter made me buy an entire roll of tape just to tape my return label onto the package. When I told him how absurd this was he mumbled some comment about being sued by USPS or suing USPS.. as if I’m going to sue USPS for giving me a piece of tape? That makes absolutely no sense. I’ve returned many things and I’ve never had to buy tape to attach a prepaid return label, it’s just complete insanity and disgusting practice by a service - so characteristic of a government entity.

Sounds like he's on vacation or he has retired. I would call down to the local office and let them know.
They have 24 hour lobby access and package lockers in addition to the hallway of po boxes.
You should be able to make an account with USPS online and do it that way!
For air mail 108 inches length+width+height or length+girth and maximum 130 inches for ground.
You can call or visit the post office.
Search for the "USPS Postal Calculator" and it will allow you to enter dimensions, weight and distance to figure out cost ect
You can also place your mail on hold by going to USPS.com.
