The ferry was a delight to ride with my family and dogs. Dogs are allowed in your car, on the deck, or on the sun deck. It was definitely a highlight of our trip last weekend.

The Currituck Sound Ferry is always pleasant. These are hard working people dealing with machine versus nature. Please have respect, caution, and above all patience. The ride is about a half hour depending on conditions. You are free to walk around and it is quite an enjoyable experience. That first DIP when your front tires hit the boat is normal. Just take it slow
